Biographical Info
Margo Ross Sinclair (formerly Sears) is the founder and lead pastor of LEWA, bringing over 30 years of experience in spiritual leadership, mentorship, and transformational guidance. Since 2006, Margo personally interviews and ordains all new and existing LEWA clergy members—an honor she has held for more than 275 clergy and counting.
Margo’s path also reflects her popular blend of creativity, service, and soul-centered teaching. She was an award-winning wedding photographer and co-owner of Beachpeople Weddings & Photography, a published Reiki Master Teacher with more than 400 graduates worldwide, and a certified Great Life Coach. She also served as an English professor in both the United States and Japan, bringing multi-demensional wisdom into her teachings.
Margo’s diverse professional journey includes work as a writer, fine artist, chef, notary public, bartender, waitress, paralegal, retail manager, national junior Rolex buyer, complaints department solo manager for a national mattress manufacturer, kindergarten teacher, insurance claims processor, job coach for adults with autism for UNC–Chapel Hill, caseworker for Big Brothers Big Sisters, podcast co-host, and long-time magazine advice columnist. She is the author of four Reiki how-to textbooks and continues to inspire, empower others, and lead with compassion, depth, and lifelong commitment to spiritual authenticity and growth.
